The secluded setting of this retreat was perfect for a romantic escape. Surrounded by nature and away from the hustle and bustle, we truly felt like it was just the two of us. The starry night sky and the majestic redwood trees created a magical atmosphere. Additionally, the convenience of being close to a nearby state park allowed us to easily explore the natural beauty of the area.

There were a few aspects that made our stay less enjoyable. the lack of WiFi coverage beyond the manager's deck and surrounding areas was quite inconvenient.

I recently stayed at Paradise Retreats for a weekend getaway and I can't recommend it highly enough. The location was breathtakingly beautiful, offering a sense of tranquility and peace. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and made me feel like a part of their family. The free wifi ensured that I stayed connected even in the remote mountains. The dinner and breakfast options were delicious and unique, with a mix of flavors I had never tried before. my stay was fantastic and I can't wait to return.

The friendly owners, Tania and Marshall, go above and beyond to ensure a memorable stay, even serenading guests with soothing piano melodies at sunset. The delicious breakfast, including toasted tortillas and fresh fruits, is a delightful start to the day. Guests can unwind by the pool or explore the nearby hiking trails, immersing themselves in nature's beauty.

Some guests have reported encountering unpredictable co-guests, which can occasionally affect the overall experience.

The hosts Tanya and Marshall were so hospitable, making sure to take care of our stay and provide whatever we needed. The shed is basically a tiny home, it’s rustic and cute and it was the perfect stay and just what we’re looking for- a somewhat remote weekend getaway. But close enough to the main town. Lots of great hiking spots around too. There’s a pool and trampolines as well!

tania and marshall made my stay at paradise retreats in bonny doon unforgettable. they welcomed me with a delicious dinner and their piano playing on the deck during sunset was so relaxing. the redwood trees were breathtaking and having a full kitchen saved me money. can't wait to go back for a vacation!

The value for the money was great! The room was cozy and comfortable, and the location amidst the Redwoods was breathtaking. The staff at the hotel were incredibly kind and welcoming, making me feel like a part of their family.
